I'm Pompom and I was just like you. Tired of the fast-paced digital life. I wanted to start fresh, a new hobby perhaps learn something along the way too. Then I got into books.

I love supernatural, fantasy, comedy, romance and mystery books. 

I can suggest books that are beginner-friendly; anybody can read, whether you're 8 or 80. It doesn't matter.

Also, it's a safe space. 

Books don't judge you and so do I. 

So grab your snacks🍿 and get comfy cuz we're about to start our reading journey📚

The Famous Five  Author - Enid Blyton  Five friends who solves mystery together. They are an interesting bunch.  Series but can be read in any order. Would recommend to 7-12 year olds. Language is easy to understand and child can expand vocabulary.  Bonus point : One of the character is a doggo named timmy. Who doesn't like dogs? 2. Agatha Oddly  Author - Lena Jones A thirteen year old girl who grew up reading detective novels and also a detective herself is looking for her first case to crack.  She uncovers some secrets which changes her life forever. It could be a bit heavy as it's a little over 200 pages but it is totally worth the time. Percy Jackson and The Lightening Thief (Book Review)

Welcome to the first post of Spookbook! This week, I found myself in the world of Percy Jackson.   Why didn’t I read this book sooner? It’s crazy that this book wasn’t part of my teenage years! Nevertheless, it’s better late than never. This series blends Greek mythology with modern storytelling. Percy, the protagonist, is a witty and relatable young boy—a half-blood, born of a Greek god and a mortal mother. He embarks on an epic quest alongside his friends. As the story unfolds, Percy uncovers intense truths and ultimately discovers his true self. The plot is packed with twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The writing style is fresh and the humor is absolutely top-notch. This was a delightful read for me.
